Funny photos

Last night Allen was going through some old digi photo cards when we found all these old photos. Some are of the kids, some were of the Duke street house before I sold it, some were of the land before we started building. Some of them were funny to see so here they are.
some of the steel there was alot of it!
Timber for the deck and the footings that were in the ground

When we started unpacking it all we really started thinking what have we done?

This was a daunting task

This was our first trip to see the block before we bought it, we made an offer that night.

It really did look like a jumble of weeds

This made Allen and I realise just how much we have done in 2 years.

The front of my first house, I loved the garden here it was so nice and I loved watching things grow

This was our last Christmas at the old house

HAHAHA. Xaviour had his face painted by Allen fro Halloween that year he was only 8, he looks so cute

How cute is this! Jasmine was only 11 and allready looking like a model (height wise)

The missionaries who taught Xaviour they were fantastic

This was the kitchen in the old house I had a great time wreaking the old one :o)

The hall and front door we polished all the floors again they really did look great when we left.

This was my room, we took out the wall and made a sitting area for reading and escaping from kids hehehe

Xaviours baptism he was so excited

Xaviours 8th birthday at the play centre he was in the space room

The lounge room of the old house we took out the wall between the 2 rooms it made it so much bigger and heaps more light very nice

This was the new carpet being layed

It seemed a shame to cover the floor boards but it needed to flow so they were covered

more of the floor before the carpet went down

cooking up a storm

I love having the chickens in the yard and with a super neighbour next door who also has chickens Im cooking up a storm! Ive been baking biscuits and muffins and quiche and heaps of stuff! The kids are enjoying it too with them eating their way through 50 muffins this week! plus over 50 biscuits. I bought some cute christmas trays and bowls on Saturday to put home made biscuits and fudge.yummo!

Allen in his wisdom to help Gabriel and Xaviour bond more bought a race track for them to use and this was what my flor looked like after they played.

I also had a huge surprise on Tuesday afternoon, Id just put Naimh down for a nap and came out and my dad was standing in the hall I almost bumped into him. I didnt know he was coming and we had a quick visit till after the kids came home from school, then he went to his hotel fro dinner with my aunty Judy. We met him yesterday in town and he took us to lunch and we chatted for a bit. I dont get to see him much because hes in Victoria and Im in Tassie, hes coming down for Christams with Robyn and they are staying a week so the kids will love that :o)

Boys will be boys

Sometimes I wonder what runs through a boys head especially when I see them (all 3 of them) doing odd and strange things. This week Gabriel has come under the radar of strange things that boys do.... He found Allens helmet for the bike and after crying because it was stuck on his head he still wanted me to put it on for him.... silly. Then as if the helmet incident wasnt funny enough but he decided that the boots would be a good idea to try on too! He was clunking around the house almost breaking his leg twisting it around the wrong way to stand up. Hmm I really will never understand what the heck they are thinking, But here are some ictures of the little monkey getting up to mischief.

A for the other little monkey AKA Niamh shes been really upsetting Gabriel by climbing into his bed at every chance she gets. He keeps saying "no Niamh, my bed". Its funny to watch hehehe

Cute kids

Since my last post was so full of pictures I had to post this one of the little kids, you can see how chubby Niamh is now with her little bhuda tummy :o) Then there is Gabriel being goofy because he can see himself on the camera screen. I also added some belated photos of Niamh dressed up for Halloween. I made the costume myself she was a pea pod. I decided the night before that Id make it so it was very dodgy but she did look cute, and she was nice and warm :o)
